Sacramento journalist Brea is desperate to come up with a big story and struggling to find one. On the other hand her boyfriend, John takes Brea for a romantic weekend in a wonderful mansion. Like any thriller, bad people enter the scene.
Overacting from Paula Patton makes Deon Taylor's Traffik more ridiculous than it actually looks. Paula handles supporting roles very well, But leading role looks struggling from the beginning. Deon's intentions were to show a serious matter of human trafficking and he also claims it's based on true events. Morethan the story Deon was concentrated on showing various shots of his female star's body and frankly on that basis he seems to exploit Paula Patton in most of the scenes. Luke Goss shows up with villains look and wasted out by the story flow. Overall, I don't know why they praise black actors movie blindly and this is a movie that shouldn't be made in the first place.
Verdict : Awful
Paula Patton, Omar Epps, Laz Alonso, Roselyn Sánchez, Luke Goss & Dawn Olivieri
